In fact, according to data from a survey we recently carried out, 67% of UK healthcare firms had a cybersecurity issue in the previous year. As new technology and data laws are implemented throughout the healthcare supply chain, along with a shift towards digital transformation, the industry remains susceptible to possible cyber-attacks. The top 5 cybersecurity threats facing the UK healthcare industry were identified by our research, which polled senior IT decision makers in these firms. In the past 12 months, malware or viruses have been the cause of 48% of all hospital cyber incidents.
